An update
The past few weeks seem to have rushed by in quite a whirlwind, and unfortunately the job of updating the blog keeps getting pushed further down the list… The excuses for me range from been busy filming to attending my sister’s wedding and at times busy making tea…. But I’m writing it now so yay!
As mentioned the past few weeks have been rather busy, one big event that happened was that I filmed Dave Macleod on his assent of Indian Face in North Wales, which even though a very wet day a very rewarding one. Paul of Hot Aches has written a very good write up on his site as has Dave on his site too complete with a few of my photos.
In other news, I recently collaborated with a fellow York creative Matt Durrant. Helping film a new video piece for his exhibition exploring the idea of Analogue vs Dialogue within Photography, and mainly digital photography, see a screen shot below.
However this time of rest after the end of term and the time of summer has given me a chance to get out doing some of my own personal photography, which has been very rewarding in that it has given me a chance to get out and shoot what I want and get back to the basics of why I love and why I went in to photography and film making in the first place. It’s nice to just be out in the field enjoying taking the images rather than worrying about any external pressures. My gallery will be updated in the very near future with a small collection of these photos…
I will blog again in the much nearer future.
Take care Tom
